About

I started By The Peer for the businesses big agencies overlook

For eight years I managed Google Ads for billion-dollar companies, more than $90 million in ad spend over my career. Every dollar had to be accounted for, and every change had to be defensible to people who watched the numbers closely.

Along the way I noticed something that bothered me. The local businesses I talked to outside of work were getting a completely different level of care from their agencies. They were paying real money for reports they couldn't read, campaigns nobody checked and account managers who changed every few months.

So I left the corporate job and built By The Peer here in Fort Myers. You work with me directly, you see what I see in your accounts, and I explain it the way I'd explain it to a friend.

Working with me

Things you'll never hear from me

The biggest difference between me and a typical agency is simple: you deal with me. Here's what that looks like.

A typical agency says: “Your account manager will reach out to you.”

You text me directly

Same person from the first call to every monthly report. No ticket system, no waiting on a callback.

A typical agency says: “Let me loop in our specialist.”

The person you talk to does the work

Your account doesn't get handed to someone you've never met. I build it, I manage it and I answer for it.

A typical agency says: “Please welcome Jessica, your new account manager.”

You never start over

No revolving door of new faces who need your business explained to them again.

A typical agency says: “Impression share declined 14% QoQ due to budget constraints.”

Reports in plain English

Every report ends with a plain English summary of what happened and what I am doing next.

A typical agency says: “This requires a 12-month commitment.”

Month to month

You stay because it's working, not because you signed something.

Monthly reports

Every report ends in plain English

The numbers are all there if you want them. But the part clients read first is the summary at the bottom, written the way I'd explain it across a table.

Monthly reportSeptember
Calls38+6 vs. Aug
Form leads11+3 vs. Aug
Cost per lead$42−$5 vs. Aug
Ad spend$2,050
In plain English

You got 49 leads this month, 9 more than August, and each one cost about $5 less. Most of the new calls came from “emergency AC repair” searches, so I'm moving more of your budget there in October.

How I work

A few things you can count on

Tracking before anything else

If we can't measure it, we can't improve it. Every account gets proper call and form tracking before we spend a dollar.

Your accounts stay yours

Your Google Ads account, your Business Profile and your website belong to you. If we ever part ways, you keep everything.

Plain English, always

You'll never need a glossary to read your own report. If I use a term, I'll tell you what it means and why it matters to you.

Honest about fit

If a service won't pay off for your business right now, I'll say so, even if it means a smaller invoice for me.

Next steps

Let's get to know each other

Book a 30-minute call. Tell me about your business and I'll tell you honestly where I think the biggest opportunity is.
